Painted Round Basket

The Painted Round Basket was designed as an antique reproduction of an old basket found in a New England cottage. The rim has an extra trim piece lashed with flat reed and nailed in place with small brass tacks as was custom in old-time basketry construction. It is then finished in a three-step painting technique that can be done to match your home's primitive decor.
